Max Shapiro was born and raised in Beverly Hills where he attended Beverly Hills High School. At Beverly Hills High he started all 4 years on the Varsity basketball team and also served as team captain. After high school, Max attended Menlo College, where he continued to play basketball.
Max is the son of Stephen Shapiro. He grew up learning the real estate industry through osmosis, watching and learning from his father's successful career. After leaving Menlo, Max became the personal assistant to Tom Arnold and later interned at the Westside Estate Agency office. Max received his real estate license in 2003 and has been successfully representing both buyers and sellers ever since.
Max has been featured in numerous publications including a cover story in the LA Times: Real Estate section and Los Angeles Confidential Magazine. Max has been interviewed live on the Donnie Deutsch show on CNBC, as well as being the lead in a 6 episode reality show on VH1 called "The Fabulous Life Presents: Really Rich Real Estate". Max's list of clients includes: Frankie Muniz, Lindsay Lohan, James Perse, Baron Davis, Brittany Snow, Jon Avnet, Rudy Tomjanovich, Wendy Finerman, Harry Morton, Quincy Jones, Hilary Tisch and many others.
