WEA in the LA Times: Holmby Hills mansion once rented by Jay Z and Beyonce brings in $30 million
In the 400 block of North Faring Road, a 16,000-square-foot mansion briefly home to Jay Z and Beyonce sold for $30 million, or $5.5 million less than the most recent price of $35.5 million.
The rapper/hip-hop magnate and his R&B superstar wife last summer paid $200,000 for a monthlong stay at the three-story contemporary built on speculation a year ago.
The museum-like residence, designed by Estate Four founder Alessandro Cajrati Crivelli, has 16,000 square feet of interiors, plus an additional 6,500 square feet in terrace and patio space. An infinity-edge swimming pool, a tennis court, fountains and lawns complete the 1.3-acre estate.
Other notable features include three living rooms, two libraries/studies, a fitness center, an elevator and separate gourmet and catering kitchens. There are seven bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms in all.
Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency and James Harris of The Agency were the listing agents.
