California Is Well Represented On The Most Expensive Zip Codes of 2017

The luxurious state of California is home to some of the most expensive zip codes in the country. It looks like Beverly Hills, Bel Air, and Malibu aren’t the only California cities that have staggeringly beautiful, luxurious homes. In fact, more than one-third of the 15 most expensive zip codes are located in the Bay Area of California, also known as the San Francisco Bay Area. With beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and the Golden Gate Bridge, expansive beaches, vineyards, gourmet food, and fantastic boutiques, it’s no wonder this area is highly coveted and widely renowned. With more and more opulent homes on the market, California’s list of most expensive zip codes continues to grow at a rapid pace. California is well-represented as the state with some of the most expensive, and desirable zip codes in the country.

High Median Home Prices Across The State

Although median home prices of California are on the rise, it hasn’t stopped it from being one of the most popular states to live in. At the end of 2017, the median home prices of the luxurious area of LA peaked at $577,690 which averaged a 10.6% increase from the previous year. However, even with these prices, California’s housing market maintained a fantastic performance throughout 2017.

After having a having a splendid year in the real estate market, two other California neighborhoods were added onto elite list of most expensive zip codes. The 94301 area of Palo Alto and 94957 of Ross are currently standing tall on the list of most expensive zip codes. With that being said, California accounts for 8 out of America’s 15 priciest zip codes for the year of 2017–according to Forbes! The top 15 list is as follows:
