Making music together: Ellen DeGeneres buys Adam Levine’s Beverly Hills mansion
The talk show host and her wife, Portia de Rossi, have prolific real estate investors.
Ellen DeGeneres has been garnering more attention for her serious real estate moves than for the dance moves she shows off on her talk show.
For her latest deal, DeGeneres and wife, actress Portia de Rossi, have been revealed as the buyers of Adam Levine’s $45 million Beverly Hills mansion, according to Variety.
Levine and wife, the model Behati Prinsloo, listed the home for $47.5 million in April, and sold it earlier this month. The couple bought the home from “Will & Grace” co-creator Max Mutchnik for about $34 million last year.
Located on Loma Vista Drive, the celebrity pedigreed-home spans nearly 10,400 square feet and includes five bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. There’s also a guest house, tennis court, screening room, putting green, gym and oval-shaped swimming pool.
Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency represented both sides.
DeGeneres is the star of “The Ellen Show,” which recently got renewed up for another three seasons.
Her real estate career is just as impressive. In the last two years, DeGeneres has closed nearly $200 million in real estate deals across Southern California. Ellen has been a master at high-end home flipping. Recently, she listed a 5,100-square-foot home in Beverly Hills for about $18 million, which is roughly $3 million more than what she paid for it less than a year ago.
