Doc Rivers has officially checked out of the Westside.
The L.A. Clippers head coach, who bought a home in Hollywood Hills West last month, has sold his condominium unit at the Beverly West Residences in Westwood for $6.2 million.
The two-bedroom residence, accessible by private elevator, features floor-to-ceiling glass windows with views of the L.A. Country Club, the Hollywood Hills and the Wilshire Corridor.
The open-space floor plan includes a living room, a chef’s kitchen, a dining room, a den/media room and 2.5 bathrooms in about 3,800 square feet. The master suite sports a steam shower, a soaking tub, a walnut wardrobe and a private balcony.
Building amenities available to residents include 24-hour concierge service, a fitness center and a saltwater pool and spa.
Rivers paid $5.506 million for the property in August 2013, public record show. Jon Bronson and Mary Swanson of Westside Estate Agency listed the unit on behalf of Rivers in September. Kurt Rappaport, also of Westside Estate Agency, represented the buyer in the sale.
Sale of the Beverly West unit comes after Rivers paid $8.2 million for a mini-compound in the Bird Streets-area of Hollywood Hills in early November. The Hamptons-inspired retreat features a pair of residences, an outdoor pavilion and a swimming pool and infinity spa, set off by city and ocean views.
Rivers, now in his second year with the Clippers, has piloted the team to a 17-7 record this season. The 53-year-old previously served as head coach of the Magic and the Celtics, earning NBA coach of the year honors (2000) with the former and a championship (2008) with the latter.
